مسقط –
استقبل سعادة سفير دولة فلسطين لدى سلطنة عُمان، المحامي أحمد الرويضي، وكادر سفارة دولة فلسطين، مساء الأحد، بعثة فريق الرماية التابعة للاتحاد العام للرياضة العسكرية الفلسطينية، المشاركة في البطولة العربية للرماية التي تستضيفها سلطنة عُمان بتنظيم من الاتحاد العُماني للرماية، وتستمر حتى الخامس والعشرين من شهر كانون الأول/ديسمبر الجاري.

وتُقام منافسات البطولة في المجمع الوطني الأولمبي للرماية بالعاصمة مسقط، بمشاركة (141) رامياً ورامية يمثلون (14) دولة عربية، يتنافسون في (17) مسابقة مختلفة.
وخلال اللقاء، رحّب سعادة السفير الرويضي بأعضاء بعثة المنتخب العسكري الفلسطيني للرماية، معربًا عن فخره واعتزازه بمشاركة فلسطين في هذا المحفل العربي، وبعزف النشيد الوطني الفلسطيني ورفع العلم الفلسطيني في حفل افتتاح البطولة، مؤكدًا دعم السفارة الكامل للفريق واستعدادها لتقديم كل ما يلزم من مساندة وتسهيلات خلال فترة تواجدهم في السلطنة.

وكان سعادة السفير الرويضي قد شارك، يوم السبت، في حفل افتتاح البطولة العربية للرماية، الذي أُقيم تحت رعاية صاحب السمو السيد ذي يزن بن هيثم بن طارق آل سعيد، وزير الثقافة والرياضة والشباب، وذلك في نادي الشفق بالعاصمة مسقط.
وتضم بعثة فريق الرماية التابعة للاتحاد العام للرياضة العسكرية الفلسطينية، بقيادة الكابتن أحمد واصف قبها، كلاً من:
الكابتن إسلام خطاطبة، الكابتن نزار قبها، الكابتن أنور جرار، الكابتن أسامة ذياب، والكابتن محمد إنجاص.
 

Muscat –
His Exellency the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Sultanate of Oman, Lawyer Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, along with the staff of the Embassy of the State of Palestine, received on Sunday evening the shooting team delegation of the Palestinian General Federation of Military Sports, participating in the Arab Shooting Championship hosted by the Sultanate of Oman and organized by the Oman Shooting Federation, which continues until December 25.
The championship competitions are being held at the National Olympic Shooting Complex in the capital, Muscat, with the participation of 141 male and female shooters representing 14 Arab countries, competing in 17 different events.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al-Ruwaidi welcomed the members of the Palestinian military shooting team delegation, expressing his pride in Palestine’s participation in this Arab sporting event, as well as in the playing of the Palestinian national anthem and the raising of the Palestinian flag during the opening ceremony. He affirmed the embassy’s full support for the team and its readiness to provide all necessary assistance and facilitation throughout their stay in the Sultanate.
Ambassador Al-Ruwaidi had also participated on Saturday in the opening ceremony of the Arab Shooting Championship, which was held under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, at Al Shafaq Club in the capital, Muscat.
The Palestinian General Federation of Military Sports shooting team delegation is headed by Captain Ahmed Wasif Qubha and includes:
