And that was in the presence of Brigadier General Zaher Al-Sabah, Vice President for Military Affairs, and Dr. Ali Ayaida, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Dr. Shaaban Al-Ayyat, Director of the University President's Office, Dr. Ismail Zakarneh, Dean of Student Affairs and Head of the Sports Training Department, and Dr. Iyad Masoud, Assistant President of the University for Media, Public and International Relations.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Noureddine Abu Al-Rub welcomed and reviewed the university's development plan and the readiness of independence to enhance military sports activities, and its benefit from this cooperation by refining students' skills and raising the athletic level, pointing out that the university has a rich record of winning advanced positions. in many sporting events.

Prof. Dr. Abu Al-Rub indicated that the university is in the process of holding a joint workshop with military sports to evaluate the military sports curricula, as the outputs of independence will always be in coordination with all Palestinian security agencies according to their needs.

For her part, Brigadier General Amal Khalifa appreciated the efforts of Al-Istiqlal University, and its role in graduating qualified officers at the highest level, stressing the readiness of the Military Sports Federation to devote all efforts of cooperation in the path of partnership with Al-Istiqlal and to benefit and develop university students in order to improve the quality of military sports.

Brigadier General Khalifa announced that the partnership with Al-Istiqlal University is deep, as it will host the international marathon and the International Federation of Military Sports from 140 countries, which will be organized in the city of Jericho next year 2024.
