شهدت جامعة الاستقلال مناقشة أول رسالة ماجستير في مسار التدريب الرياضي للباحثة شرين شاكر سليمان جودة، بعنوان "الهوية الرياضية والاتصال العاطفي وعلاقتهما بالاحتراق النفسي لدى لاعبات كرة السلة في الأندية الفلسطينية"، بإشراف الدكتور قاسم أسد دبيك رئيساً للجنة، وعضوية الدكتور عادل عطية الفران ممتحناً داخلياً، والدكتورة ليلى حسن جوابرة ممتحناً خارجياً. ويُعد هذا الإنجاز محطة مفصلية في تطوير البحث العلمي الرياضي، ويعكس وحدة الرؤية بين الأكاديميا والرياضة العسكرية، خاصة مع إطلاق دبلوم الرياضة العسكرية بالتعاون مع الاتحاد العام للرياضة العسكرية الفلسطينية، لتأهيل كوادر وطنية تجمع بين الكفاءة العلمية والميدانية.

The University of Istiklal witnessed the discussion of the first master's thesis in the sports training track by researcher Shireen Shakir Suleiman Jawadeh, titled 'Athletic Identity and Emotional Communication and Their Relationship to Psychological Burnout Among Female Basketball Players in Palestinian Clubs,' supervised by Dr. Qasim Asad Dabeek as head of the committee, with the membership of Dr. Adel Attia Al-Faran as internal examiner and Dr. Leila Hassan Jawabreh as external examiner. This achievement represents a pivotal milestone in the development of sports scientific research and reflects the unity of vision between academia and military sports, especially with the launch of the Military Sports Diploma in cooperation with the General Federation of Palestinian Military Sports, to qualify national cadres who combine scientific competence and field expertise.
