شارك الاتحاد العام للرياضة العسكرية الفلسطينية في لبنان في مباراة ودية تكريمية للراحل غسان سرية نظمها نادي الإخوة الفلسطيني بصيدا، وجمعت النادي بمنتخب لبنان لكرة القدم.

حضر اللقاء ممثل عن سفير فلسطين بلبنان سمير أبو عفش، الذي أشاد بدور الرياضة كجسر للمحبة والوحدة وبمسيرة الراحل. ومثل الاتحاد مدير الرياضة العسكرية في لبنان العميد عبد الهادي الأسدي.

من جهته، أشاد رئيس الاتحاد العام للرياضة العسكرية الفلسطينية العقيد د. معن بركات بالمبادرة، مؤكدًا أن تكريم الرموز الرياضية يعكس أصالة ورسالة الرياضة الفلسطينية، وأن الرياضة ستظل عنوانًا للوفاء والوحدة بين الشعوب.

The Palestinian General Military Sports Federation in Lebanon participated in a tribute football match for the late Ghassan Siryyeh, organized by the Al-Ikhwa Club in Sidon against the Lebanese national team.

The event was attended by a representative of the Palestinian Ambassador, who highlighted sports as a bridge of unity. The federation was represented by Brig. Gen. Abdul Hadi Al-Asadi.

Federation President Col. Dr. Maen Barakat praised the initiative, stating that honoring sports icons reflects the true spirit of Palestinian sports and its message of unity and loyalty.
